What comes to mind when you think of the ‘traditional’ biker? Hard-core, Hell’s Angel types? How about young, yuppie males? Or even older males having a mid-life crisis?
Would you believe me if I told you that the first growing segment of motorcycle riders is female?
According to Jenni Mintz in the January 12, 2007 edition of the Sacremento Bee (online), who cites stats provided by the Motorcycle Industry Council, that is exactly the case.
