Motorcycle logic puzzle

Here is a motorcycle logic puzzle I found on the Harley Bikers of Texas forum. The puzzles was devised by one of the forum moderators, James R. Davis, who apparently likes to do this sort of thing every now and then,

For the uninitiated, a logic puzzle is a puzzle of deduction derived from the field of mathematics.

Enjoy!

Joe Wannabe, new to motorcycle riding, found it difficult to decide what kind of a motorcyclist he wanted to be. He changed motorcycles five times during his quest. Can you determine the type, brand and duration of trial for the first bike in the series? (It turns out that he ended up buying a Harley-Davidson, of course.)

* Both the motorcycles tried before and after the fourth motorcycle, the Honda, were tried out for a longer time than it was.
* Joe tried out a touring motorcycle for 2 weeks less than he tried out the BMW.
* Joe tried out a Suzuki for the longest time. It was not an off-road style, which was the style of the second motorcycle he tried out.
* The Kawasaki that Joe tried out, though not for 2 months, was a cruiser.
* Joe tried out the standard motorcycle for 1 ½ months before he decided to move on to try out another motorcycle.
