Hawgs N Hills Rally
We’ll be heading off early tomorrow for the 1st Annual Hawgs N Hills Rally in Llano, TX. More info on the rally can be found here.
The rally, which actually kicks off today, will be held on ranch land approximately 10 miles south of Llano. Camping will be available. And judging by the difficulty I had in finding a room in the area about three weeks ago, that may be your only choice for accommodations at this time.
A concert Friday night will feature Blackfoot, Voodoo Blue (A Stevie Ray Vaughn tribute band) and will be headlined by Molly Hatchet. Other entertainment during the rally will be provided by Team FMX. And world renown face and body painter, Mark Ried, will be there showing off his skills.
If, for whatever reason, this will be your first time to the area, I suggest you plan on eating at least one meal at Cooper’s Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que in Llano. You can find their web site here. Get there plenty early for lunch to avoid the inevitable lines. If you happen to get there late, it’s still worth the wait.
