Refresh your riding

I came across this “10 Things” list on Clutch and Chrome of ‘… ways to make riding fresh again’. You can find the expanded list here.

In the post are 10 ideas for you to try something different with your riding in an effort to ‘freshen up’ the experience.

Some of the suggestions will challenge you to be a little uncomfortable. Other items cause or help you to expand your creativity. While yet others just suggest that you be willing to try something new.

Here is the condensed version of the list.

10 Things… to make riding fresh again

1. Close your eyes and pick a random point on a local map to visit. No questions asked, just go.
2. Find a new group of bikers to ride with.
3. If you’ve never done it before, try a local Track Day.
4. Go to a bike night that’s mostly attended by those ‘other’ kinds of riders. If you ride a sportsbike, go to a cruiser event and visa-versa.
5. Offer to take someone who’s never ridden before out on a quick ride.
6. Start your ride 30 minutes before sunrise and watch the sun come up while you’re cruising.
7. Plan a ride around another hobby.
8. Ride over to a nearby town and visit a neighboring motorcycle club or chapter.
9. Regardless of what you’ve heard, try a Poker or Toy Run.
10. Start conversations with cars and other riders at traffic lights.

Be sure to visit the Clutch and Chrome post for the expanded version of this list.

And feel free to share your additions to the list here.

Enjoy!
