Why motorcycle training is important
John over at Northwest Cycle News has a great post about the importance of some kind of motorcycle training prior to riding. You can find the post here.
A college student in Washington state is lucky to be alive after he crashed his motorcycle while trying to negotiate a turn on I-90 at 65 – 70 mph hour. The student, Maslow Magnotti, had just purchased the motorcycle and was on his way home. He had no prior motorcycle training nor had he ever owned a bike before!
John provides some excellent commentary on the event and includes some excerpts about the accident that appeared in The Seattle Times.
This is good, thought provoking reading that I highly encourage you to take a look at!
Oh… Thankfully, Magnotti is expected to fully recover.
