Leave a legacy at the H-D Museum
I have seen this done countless times at museums, hospitals, schools, etc. That is, purchasing a brick for your family or loved ones as a fund raiser of sorts for the building completion.
Now it seems that Harley has decided to do something similar at their museum that will open in Milwaulkee in 2008. They did put an interesting spin on it, however.
In an effort to allow people to express their ‘connection’ with Harley-Davidison, H-D will be selling a customized, stainless steel rivet with your name or statement for placement at the museum. The placement will either be in a curved steel wall or in a special plaza on the museum grounds.
This could be just the thing for those die-hard Harley riders out there.
