Big Bend and River Road Ride

Just got in from a long day of riding. Will try to post some pics soon, but for tonight, the route will have to suffice.

Started in Alpine this morning, went to Marathon then south to Big Bend National Park. Went to Panther Junction, then head up to the Chisos Basin and Chisos Lodge (not even sure right now if I spelled that correctly). Then it was back down the mountain and into Study Butte, then Terlingua. Lajitas, then the ride along the Rio Grande on the River Road to Presidio. From Presidio, headed north to Marfa then completed the loop in returning to Alpine.

Then I made the 3 hour or so trek home to Midland.

What a day! But I sure am tired right now.

About Ronn

More to follow in this space. I am just a guy who is interested in motorcycles. I currently ride an '04 HD Heritage Softail Classic (I traded in my '06 HD XL 1200 C in February 2008). I started this site because I am just arrogant enough to think that I can put together a site that appeals to a wide, cross-section of riders on several different levels. I hope you find it interesting, provocative (just really wanted to use that word :-) and fun and that you will encourage others to visit as well. Thanks!
