Found these interesting bags on a bike outside a gallery and the ‘Big Hair Salon’ in Marathon, TX. There is a woodworkers gallery attached to the salon, but I don’t know the name. It was closed when we went by.

The bags are made out of wood with leather accents. There are also some wood accents on the the luggage rack bag as well as on the side of the gas tank and on the front fender.

The bike is apparently a work in progress. I say this because there is actually only one saddlebag on the bike on the left side. I don’t know if the artist intends to finish out the other side or not. All the wood appointments you see on the left side match up on the right with the exception of the saddlebag.

Unfortunately, with the shop being closed, I have no idea what a set of these hard-sided saddlebags would set you back.
