There is a nifty little web app over at Mica Peak web site that allows you to create a packing list for your motorcycle travels. You can find the Mica Peak site here.

On the site, you can find a couple of checklists that you can taylor to your specific needs. One, the ‘Motorcycle Trip Checklist’, can be found here. The other, shorter one, ‘Motorcycle “Credit card camping” Checklist’, can be found here.

Here are the simple instructions, provided Mica Peak, for the Motorcycle Trip Checklist.

This is a checklist for an overnight motorcycle camping trip. There is another smaller (”credit card camping”) list here too. Here’s how it works:

1. Uncheck the checkboxes of the items you do not plan to take. (This is easier than having to check the boxes of the things you do want).
2. Use the blank items at the end of each section to add special items which don’t appear in the given list.
3. Choose your options (font, size, title, etc.)
4. Click the Make a Checklist button at the bottom of the page and you will get a custom page suitable for printing which you can use on your trip.

As for the Motorcycle “Credit card camping” Checklist, here is what Mica Peak has to say.

This is a checklist for a motorcycle trip where all you take is what will fit into a tankbag, or tail bag. This is humorously called “credit card camping” if it involves an overnight (the credit card is used to pay for a motel room).

Both lists are customizable, to a certain degree and should be a great addition to your packing routine for your motorcycle journeys.
