And your comment reminded me that I need to change the profile a bit. Traded in the '06 XL 1200C in February for an '04 Heritage Softail Classic. I miss the Sporty at times, but the recent 1,100+ mile trip was a lot more comfortable on the Heritage. Rode my XL883C all around those places. I'm back in Oregon now and have the same kind of bike you have, an 06 XL1200C. Love it. The larger fuel tank and rubber engine mounts make a big difference over the 883 I used to have. Have you done any riding down in the coastal bend area?
